The Facebook Game

We Quit!

We don’t want to play the Facebook game.  Please subscribe if you’d like to see our content.

Facebook has throttled back who sees our content in a terrible way.  Five Hundred to Six Hundred (500-600) people might see our daily content, and about 1% of them care, daily.  And that’s with almost 3,200 ‘followers’.

People are overwhelmed with getting blasted with ads. We don’t want to contribute to that.    Please sign up if you would like to see our content.  It will arrive in your email and you can choose to open it at your convenience.  Here’s a link in case you want to send it to your friends: HTTPS://

Our Community Members Will Help Us Grow.

We need to build our relationships with customers who are interested in being up to date.   In exchange you will know what’s going on, what’s available, and have influence over how our business grows and develops.   You will receive offers for discounts and/or participation in food-tasting events. Essentially; you will show us what you want and we will respond.

You! Many people don’t read much in social media. It’s just the noise in our lives. Great food is not noise. It’s a conversation about what makes your life easier and potentially healthier, with great food. If this appeals to you, YOU are the intended user group. We can improve our business (making better products for you) faster with a small group of engaged users.

(This is what we thought – It’s out-dated) We have a great ‘social media’ presence, but; that essentially means we are in your feed, sometime 5 times a day. So are ‘sponsored ads’, what your friends ‘liked’…etc. In some ways we feel as though we’re ‘yelling at you’. What we’d like to do is use Facebook and Instagram for beautiful pictures and daily ‘reminders’, but create meaningful discussions here, in the community.

Here is the updated version. If you think that by following us, you’re seeing all of our content, you have been mislead (by Facebook). We would like to be able to show you our exciting developments, things that are not on the menu…etc, great food pictures, when it’s convenient for you.

We have no intention of spamming your email. You will receive one or two meaningful updates per week. You can choose to participate in the discussion or not (and still receive updates), and you can always unsubscribe if you wish.

What Does it mean to ‘Subscribe’?

This will be a separate section of our page where you can sign in, read articles, get recipes, give feedback, find coupons, attend special events…etc.
A link will be sent to you once or twice a week with discussion topics. For example, we currently have 46 pages of articles in our community section.:

  • Are we doing anything special for Christmas?
  • Is there only one recipe for Bacon available?
  • Why is that? Are you doing any others anytime soon?
  • Honey-Garlic Sausage: How about making some? When is it coming?
  • Bottled Salad Dressings and BBQ Sauces: When are they available?
  • Would you do some sausage coils again?
  • Kid meals: What happened?
  • Corn Salad/Beet Slaw: How do we do that?
  • When or how can we have it available?
  • Funding and Donations Policy
